The book “ESTRADA VIVA – Arqueologia” presents the little known and little explored archeological wonders found along the six regions in Northern Peru, crossed by the IIRSA Norte Highway, getting to Tarapoto and Yurimaguas in the photographic exhibition that carries the same name.

Arqueologia – the third volume of the Editorial Project ESTRADA VIVA – takes us through a memorable journey in which we will not only get to know monumental remains, but also a series of objects and heritage signs that underscore the importance of Peru’s northern region since ancient times, where the region of San Martín plays an undisputedly prominent role.

In the city of Tarapoto, the exhibition was held at Hotel Casa de los Palos, in May. The exhibition in the city of Yurimaguas can be visited until the end of June. It is being organized in the reception room of the Alto Amazonas Yurimaguas city hall as part of the São João celebrations.

ESTRADA VIVA is an editorial project of the IIRSA Norte Concessionaire, which aims to promote the appreciation of the cultural, biological, landscape and culinary diversity of six regions in the north of the country, crossed by the Interoceânica Norte highway.
