Odebrecht Global Advisory Council convenes in São Paulo

The members of Odebrecht’s Global Advisory Council were in São Paulo for the second straight year to participate in a series of seminars and meetings with the Group’s leaders to refine the Strategic Direction 2019-21 of Odebrecht S.A. and the Group.

The events, which were held at the Odebrecht São Paulo Building from September 20 to 24, were attended by the Board of Directors, the CEO of Odebrecht S.A. and his team and over 50 directors and leaders of the Group’s companies. Aside from the Strategic Direction, the seminars and meetings addressed the group’s engagement in collective actions to foster integrity in Brazil’s business environment, the role of multilateral organizations and the enhancement of the compliance systems implemented at the holding and at each company of the Group.

About the Global Advisory Council
The Global Advisory Council (GAC) was created in 2016 by Odebrecht S.A. to support its governance, strategic direction and the development of the group’s companies in a variety of areas, such as purpose, corporate citizenship, sustainability and integrity.

Linked to the Board of Directors of Odebrecht S.A., the Global Advisory Council is formed by independent members from Brazil and abroad with recognized expertise and long experience in companies, civil society organizations, academia and government agencies and multilateral organizations.

GAC members act as individuals and not as representatives of their respective organizations.
